What can I do with…….Miso?
Make an immune boosting soup
Ingredients: serves 2
1 tsp of miso paste
1 onion – chop into rings
1 clove garlic - crushed
Pinch of chilli flakes (more if you prefer it hotter)
1 large mushroom
Handful of shredded Chinese greens (pak choi) or green cabbage
Method:
- Fry the onion, garlic and chillies.
- Add 500ml boiling water and the miso paste
- Then the mushrooms and greens.
- Simmer for 4 minutes then serve
The onion, garlic and mushrooms are all immune boosting superfoods, high in anti-oxidants and with anti-viral + anti-bacterial properties.
